Tomapure grape tomatoes bruschetta

Ingredients
1 tub (320 g) of grape tomatoes, cubed into 4 to 6 pieces
½ cup (125 mL) fresh basil, chopped
2 tablespoons (about 30 g) red onion, finely chopped
Freshly ground black pepper
French bread, sliced ½ inch thick*
3 tablespoons (45 mL) of olive oil
1 garlic clove, finely chopped (or 1 teaspoon of garlic from a jar)
Grated Parmesan, to taste
Preparation
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Combine tomatoes, basil and red onion in a small bowl.
Pepper to taste.
Set aside.
Brush bread slices with olive oil and garlic.
Toast the bread slices on a baking sheet for about 15 minutes.
Scoop a generous spoonful of tomato mixture onto each slice, and top with Parmesan.
Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
*French bread can be replaced by a baguette, sliced ¼ inch.
Tip
Use kitchen scissors to easily chop the basil.
