Haskap berries are a very tasty, small, ancestral Nordic fruit. Also known as blue or edible honeysuckle or honeyberry, haskap has been grown in Japan for centuries, in Russia since the 1950s and in North America since 1990, Until now, haskap berries have only been available frozen or on a pick-your-own basis, but this summer, thanks to a group of Lac St-Jean producers, it will be available at its very best: fresh!
