Our suppliers
Groupe Tomapure requires a Canadian and U.S. FSA (Food Safety Audit) from all of its suppliers in order to ensure that their products, both local or imported, meet the standards and guidelines governing food safety. These suppliers must also ensure traceability of their products at all times.
Since climate can affect the quality of fruits and vegetables, Groupe Tomapure maintains privileged relationships with various local and international producers in order to have year-round access to fruits and vegetables that meet our highest standards for quality and freshness.
During in-seasons, we source our products from Quebec according to crops and timeframes. From mid-October to mid-June, we favour products from Florida, Virginia and New Jersey, primarily for their quality and geographic proximity, in order to minimize greenhouse gas emissions and to contribute to our environmental objectives.
